The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe: Reviews In Brief

In short, we liked it a lot. Wendy gives it four stars, I give it four and a half. There is no way that any movie can meet the expectations of every fan, especially fans of a series of books as old as Narnia. Still, this film was better than it might have been, and well worth seeing for fans of the book. Full reviews to follow at some point this weekend.

Comments:
Hooray!!! As soon as we all feel my brother is managing OK, I'm going to take my mom to see it---we're both fans of the books.

I absolutely loved it. There were times in the beginning when it bordered on slow, but it was all brilliant pacing, building to a crescendo of epic proportions.I can't wait to read your review, and I'll probably have more to add then.

And it all came back to me. This was the book I read over and over as a child, now brought to life. Kids were great, effects were great, I cried, I cheered, so good.

Just saw it last night and thought it was excellent. Can't wait to read your review ....
