Another Sign Of The End Of The World

Have you ever heard a song made you pause and listen carefully, thinking "Wait a minute... they can't possibly be singing what I think they're singing... nobody would be stupid enough to sing that."

Have you ever heard a song that was too brainless to be offensive... and yet, too offensive to be really brainless?

Have you ever heard a song that made you think that you just might be the victim of some huge practical joke, perpetrated by a combined effort of pop singers, record companies, radio stations and MTV?

I, dear reader, have just heard such a song.

Comments:
Darrell, I can't tell if that's a song about an elephant or about a camel. I loves songs about the animal world.

Mix your milk with my cocoa puff????

I guess it is trying to be sexual, but this song is stupid to the max!

Wow it has actual lyrics! I had the misfortune of watching the video. If you think the song is bad, the video is worse.

Lorna: I can't tell if that's a song about an elephant or about a camel.

LOL! Literally, LOL. From that perspective, I guess it might be a new song from Barney!

Jamie Dawn: Mix your milk with my cocoa puff????

I've tried and tried to imagine which physical act that might be a reference to, and the only mental image I can conjure up is breakfast.

Al: If you think the song is bad, the video is worse.

Actually, that's where I first heard the song; by seeing the video. I swear, I sat there for the whole three or so minutes, waiting for the punchline.

"Fly gearrr but I ain’t askin,
They say they love my ass ‘n"

They stole my line! I need to hire a lawyer. (Check it Out)

Oh, I don't know.. I may be able to top that

Always up for a challenge, I was fully prepared to meet Rhodester's remark, until I clicked the link and got to the "doing doing doing". I considered Milkshake, but I think you both have me beat.

If I think of something worse, I will be back. =)

It's the number one song in the nation and the number one download on iTunes.

Apparently cleverness isn't hip these days.
