Children Singing For Obama

Oh, no, this isn't creepy at all:

Nah, not remotely creepy. Because indoctrinating your kids with political ideology before they're old enough to understand it is the most natural thing in the world:

When it's done in the name of Pol Pot or Mussolini, it's called brainwashing. When it's done in the name of Obama, though, I suppose they call it "church."

OMG! I am cracking up right now. Sing for exploitation.

Terrifying. I kept waiting for the part where it switches to animation and they all march into a meat grinder.

Also, someone should teach those kids that "gonna" isn't a word. Too bad they weren't anywhere near a school at the time. Oh, wait...

If they were singing for McCaine, It would be allright. Before you vote for him you better get him checked for old-timers. Look like he's trying to replace his 2nd. wife. Another dirty old man.

I never saw such crap in my life. And we can't have any mention of our faith in school but we can make our children sing for this person who is a muslim thru and thru. Sicking alikat said

Well, no, not really. He's not a Muslim.

I honestly don't believe that he adheres to any religion, his claim that he's a Christian is just a campaign position. I think the guy is the classic, "progressive" secular liberal. If he worships anything, it's his own ideas.

doesnt every parent indoctrinate there children with there own beliefs? we usually inherent our beliefs from our parents its no different from a person being raised christian or Muslim, its not until they are of age that they can choose your way? so how can this be creepy... i remember going to sunday and being told things believing everything. some might find that crazy. its not until i grew up and began to study christian history did i find out that everything taught to me in sunday school wasn't exactly true. think of your kids what are you telling them about the election and society, you have already brain washed them with your views...

Actually, no. When I discuss anything like this with our kids I'm careful to qualify it with "This is what I believe, you may not agree or when you grow up you might feel differently."

My son, who considers himself a conservative, sometimes takes offense at that; at the implication that he might not be a conservative when he grows up. I'm convinced that he'll go through his liberal phase, like everyone does, and it's possible that he'll remain a liberal. I just want him to know that I'll love him unconditionally even if we disagree about everything political, religious, etc. This is an important matter to me.

Odd you would bring up religious beliefs in light of the video. The point is that the glorification of a politician is what people find creepy and hints that these parents, while not evil, are easily tagged as being dupes.

A cursory glance at history will explain to you why this is beyond the pale in our politics. The fact that the left can't pause for a moment of self examination is frustrating. Even this, a clear warning sign that would set them into a tizzy if this were right-wing kids, is poo-pooed as being cute and harmless.

Wake up dummies, it ain't harmless.

I think the comparison to Hitler or Pol Pot was more than a little over the top and I'm hoping that that was by design. I don't think you think that Obama would take this country in that direction.

Anyway, not having watched the video yet (and I may not), I can say that any video of kids proclaiming allegiance to that level is kind of creepy. I think of the Jesus Camp kids and even though I am a Christian it weirds me out.

I'm not comparing Obama to Hitler, Pol Pot, or anyone. I'm comparing those who treat their kids like propaganda tools ... to others who treat their kids like propaganda tools. And I'd include the poor kids in the movie Jesus Camp in that number. It's upsetting to me when people try to contrive the perception that their ideas are pure by filtering those ideas through their children. I'd stop short of calling it child abuse, but it's certainly manipulation. It's a psychological violation of the child's natural trust of the adults in her or his life.

This is the preview for things to come if Obama is elected.

It also higlights a major aspect of this election. It is not fact driven. It’s not that facts don’t matter. It’s that people who need to hear then the most (those who still don’t know how far-left Obama really is) don’t get these facts from the media. They don’t go to the blogs like this, they don’t read long data rich threads, they don’t watch scary YouTube kids-singing videos. We keep going down in polls because people listen to the huge propaganda machine–and take that BS at face value. What we need is an arsenal of conversation changers. These attention grabbers that make an impact in 5 sec. And THEN those whose opinions still can be changed may start reading more. Obama’s side if excellent in this. They have pros working around the clock on all sorts of visuals that go straight to the emotions level, bypassing the logic. Just take a look at this site to know what I’m talking about.

Can you name a single memorable anti-Obama poster that speaks to the center-leaning Democratic voter? I can’t. And to expose who Obama really is we need some of that. With my new blog and Facebook page I’ve started a new repository to fill this gap and hope it will take off and will be used. Your comments and suggestions are more than welcome.
